“(…) In September 2024, Lola Meotti invited the recipients of the 2023 Prix de Amis de La Cambre to exhibit their recent work and to expand the exhibition by inviting a former and/or recent La Cambre graduate. I thought of Isabel, and the little seeds we can spread without knowing; I thought of Caldas da Rainha and Brussels, of Portuguese and French, two places and languages that link us, and of this loop that was closing itself; and I proposed to work together. In November 2024, we began a postal correspondence, for fear of not knowing (…). Between Caldas da Rainha and Brussels we exchanged lists and drawings, words and ceramic fragments, invented books and little witchcrafts, as well as seeds for the future. (…)”
